Job Description
The Documentation & Logistics Executive at Echo Chem SDN BHD is a part of the Supply Chain Dept. reports directly to Supply Chain Manager and has a critical role in coordinating Import & Export process with suppliers, customers & brokers. In addition to communicating all data in hand to related stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Communicate with all suppliers to get the purchased cargos in compliance with the related Purchase Order & Shipping Instructions, customers to deliver the sold cargos in compliance with the related Sales, Order & Shipping Instructions.
- Check all Import Documents & confirm to the suppliers.
- Prepare & check all Shipping Documents related to sales orders.
- Make all the necessary communication with WH concerning receiving / delivery processes & instructions, booking Agents to submit SI & VGM on time, get Draft BL on Time, Get OBL on Time, Forwarding & Haulage Agent for requesting empty containers collection, providing correct Export Documentation, Laden Collection, gate in on time & and all related updates.
- Connect export, import, stakeholders all together to settle any pending problem in due time to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Communication with the insurance company for issuance of separate insurance policies (if needed).
- Preparation of needed documents concerning customs or any other governmental authority.
- Handling and follow-up all documentation cycles related to all imported & exported shipments.
- Arrange transportation for all local deliveries when needed.
- Responsible for documenting & saving all documents related to each purchase and sales process
- Contribute in all projects related to Logistics & respect the set deadlines for Logistics Tasks.
- Perform any other task requested by the management.
