Ceteareth 12 (Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol with 12 MOL EO), white solid waxy material with mild odor. Ceteareth 12 is used as an emulsifying agent for creams, gels and other cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations. Ceteareth 12 is used in O/W emulsions. Provides exceptionally stable emulsions when used in combination with another co-emulsifier such as cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol and ceto stearyl alcohol. Ceteareth 12 is soluble in water and isopropyl alcohol.
